You’ve heard the call and this art project resonates with you- what’s next?
You can participate as an individual by making your own loom kit.
Whether it's with a group you already belong to, or one you'd like to bring together for the first time, Women's Woven Voices is a great way to connect through writing, weaving, and sharing.
Learn some suggestions on how to get started and create a safe place to join together on our Participate page.
Your loom is made from 5 soda straws, 5 plastic beads, and 5 pieces of string 90" s long. These materials are available at craft stores like Michaels.
Your story cloth can now become a part of the Women's Woven Voices Global Tapestry. Take a photo of your story cloth and send it to Breciakl@gmail.com and we will add it to the Global Tapestry Gallery.
Be sure to sign up for the WWV newsletter for updates on exhibits, events, and fundraisers.

Anyone may participate in the project including men. It was designed to call attention to women’s experiences and issues, and has now evolved to include everyone in the conversations and solutions that are forming compassion and mutual respect.
Men, you can actively listen and allow women to tell the story of their lives, as a catalyst for change, particularly by opening up discussions about issues of domestic violence and sexual abuse in a safe and supportive way.
EVERYONE can promote creativity, community and compassion and practice open communication, active listening and mutual respect.
Please visit the Resource page.
You can add your financial support by donating.
You’ve written and woven your story cloth, shared your story and become a part of the international art project Women’s Woven Voices. We urge you to consider this a beginning. Circle back to the Mission of the project and recognize that by sharing your story you have become a catalyst for change and contribution.
You are now part of a community that promotes creativity, community and compassion.
Let your light shine! Take positive action. Look around your community and find ways to make a positive difference. Continue to connect with other women to support each other. Join groups, organizations, and movements that foster equality, respect and kindness towards all.
Share your journey on the WWV facebook page.
Share the project with women everywhere.
Contact Brecia if you would like to exhibit the WWV tapestry at your conference, international venue, Women’s summit etc.
